Latchel SMS provides several advantages for you if you wish to improve customer relations and communication flow.<\/p>\n<p>These SMS messages are sent from your <strong>Latchel Communication Phone Number<\/strong>. This number can be found on your account under <strong>Maintenance Communication Settings<\/strong>. Click on the <b>SMS icon<\/b> to open up the SMS interface.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2.<\/strong> Type your message in the text field and press <strong>enter <\/strong>on your keyboard to send the message.<\/p>\n<p><em><div class=\"fusion-alert alert custom alert-custom fusion-alert-left \" style=\"background-color:#e9f3f6;color:# 1d1934;border-color:# 1d1934;border-width:2px;\"><div class=\"fusion-alert-content-wrapper\"><span class=\"alert-icon\"><i class=\"fa-lg fa-info-circle fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-alert-content\"><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Please note, if you cannot send an SMS message to someone, check the SMS icon to see if the number is valid or textable. A<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> red icon<\/span> will appear next to the number if at any point we attempted to send an SMS message to that user and the message failed to be delivered. This can happen if the number is a landline, disconnected, etc.\u00a0When this happens, we mark it as an undeliverable message to prevent any new messages from being sent to it. If the number is invalid as such, please escalate the issue to our Customer Success team by emailing success@latchel.com.\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 data-fontsize=\"26\" data-lineheight=\"39\"><strong>Open Incoming SMS Messages<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step 1. <\/strong>Click on the Open SMS Queue icon with a red circle containing a number (The number in a circle represents how many conversations are open that have not been assigned to anyone on your team yet). Once you send a response back, the chat will be assigned to you. This option leaves the conversation assigned to you and allows you to access or return to it later.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ak-ol\" data-indent-level=\"3\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"10393\">&#8220;Close Window&#8221; keeps the conversation assigned to the team member that last responded.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"10481\">When a new SMS comes in, the messages will be automatically assigned to you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"fusion-alert alert custom alert-custom fusion-alert-left \"
